This Privacy Policy describes how Lang Racing Development ("Lang Racing," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit langracing.com, request a quote or appointment, call us, or bring your vehicle to our shop at 22512 Aspan St, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
Information you provide. When you submit a quote or work request, call, email, or become a customer, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, license plate, mileage), and the description of the work you're requesting. Our online quote form is operated by Shopmonkey, the shop-management platform we use to run our business; information you enter there is stored in our Shopmonkey account.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit — such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you found us. See "Analytics and advertising" below.
We use the information we collect to respond to quote and appointment requests, perform and document vehicle service, communicate with you about your vehicle, process transactions, improve our website and services, comply with legal obligations, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager help us understand how visitors use our site. Google Ads conversion tracking helps us measure whether our advertising works. As part of that measurement, we may share information you provided to us — such as your email address or phone number — with Google in a hashed (privacy-protective, non-reversible) form so Google can determine whether an ad interaction led to a customer contact ("enhanced conversions"). Google acts as a data processor for this matching and does not learn anything about you that it does not already know. Meta (Facebook) pixel may be used to measure advertising on Meta platforms. You can control Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
You can also limit cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not affect our ability to serve you as a customer.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business, including: Shopmonkey (shop management, quotes, invoicing, and customer messaging), Google and Meta (analytics and advertising measurement as described above), our website hosting and content-delivery providers (SiteGround, Cloudflare), and payment processors when you pay for service. Purchases at our parts store (store.langracing.com) are processed by Shopify and are additionally governed by the policies presented there. We may also disclose information when required by law.
If you are a California resident, you have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to request to know the personal information we have collected about you, request that we delete or correct it, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell personal information. Our use of advertising-measurement cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you may opt out of such sharing at any time by contacting us using the details below or by using the cookie and ad-preference controls described above. Our website and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
